Account and Data Deletion
At Salt-Ed AI, we give you full control over your personal data. Below are the ways you can request complete deletion of your account and associated information.
Method 1: Immediate In-App Deletion
You can permanently delete your account directly within the Salt-Ed AI app at any time:
- Open the Salt-Ed AI app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to your Profile Page.
- Tap the “Delete Account Permanently” button.
- Confirm your selection.
Executing this action instantly purges your profile details (Name, Email, Password, City, Country, Language preferences) and completely removes your record from our active databases.
Method 2: Web-Based Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the application or cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion without reinstalling the app:
- Send an email to saltedai08@gmail.com from your registered email address.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request – Salt-Ed AI
Data Types Deleted vs. Retained
- Permanently Deleted: Account credentials (Name, Email, Password hash), location attributes (City, Country), interface language preferences, and user prompt history.
- Processing Timeline: Manual web or email requests are processed and permanently wiped from our servers within 30 days.
- Retention: Non-identifiable diagnostic crash logs are retained for 90 days for operational stability before automated purging.
